1. Independent service relationship
Unless a separate written employment agreement expressly states otherwise, a courier using the Yamjoy courier platform provides delivery services as an independent service provider and is responsible for their own legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
2. Eligibility and documents
Couriers must meet the minimum legal age for the relevant work, provide accurate identity information and maintain any driving licence, vehicle documents, insurance, permits or other credentials required by applicable law.
3. Delivery conduct
Couriers must handle orders carefully, use appropriate delivery equipment, follow lawful road and safety requirements, protect customer information and complete pickups and handovers honestly.
4. Location and tracking
When a courier is online or completing an active delivery, Yamjoy may process location information for dispatch, routing, customer tracking, support, fraud prevention and safety, subject to applicable privacy law and platform settings.
5. Earnings
Delivery fees, incentives, tips, deductions and settlement arrangements are governed by the courier's applicable commercial schedule or agreement and may vary by market.
6. Prohibited conduct
Couriers must not tamper with orders, request unauthorised payments, misuse customer data, permit another person to use their courier account, falsify delivery status or engage in harassment, discrimination, fraud or unsafe conduct.
7. Account review
Serious safety, fraud, identity or compliance concerns may result in temporary restriction while a matter is reviewed. Any permanent action will be taken in accordance with applicable law and Yamjoy procedures.
